If you know your current password (easy — 2–3 minutes)
Open your web browser (Chrome/Edge/Safari).
Go to office.com and sign in with your work/school email and current password.
Click your picture/initials (top-right) → My account or View account (or click the gear icon → Settings).
Find Password or Change password, click it.
Type your old password, then type your new password twice, then Submit / Save.
Sign out and sign back in with the new password to confirm.
If you forgot your password (can do this yourself if allowed)
On the sign-in page, click “Can’t access your account?” or the Forgot my password / Reset password link.
Enter your work email and follow the on-screen prompts — you’ll usually get a code by text, email, or authenticator app to prove it’s you.
Create a new password and finish the steps.
If the site asks for more security questions or verification, follow the simple prompts.
